I am Chloe Dinh, a Vietnamese student currently studying at Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA. I am an economics major and a biology minor!
Throughout my teenage years, I was struggling with anorexia and had a really negative body image. That is why I have decided to dedicate my time and energy to learn more about health, nutrition and exercising, as well as practicing mental and emotional wellness through mindfulness meditation. This website is the place for me to share what I have learned, as well as a platform for like-minded people to contribute their knowledge!
I am also pursuing a health-coaching certificate. Once I am certified, I look forward to working with clients in helping them change their behaviors and adopt a healthier lifestyle without chasing harmful fad diets and detoxes. A personal trainer certification is also in my horizon, as I aim to help my clients in a well-rounded manner, focusing on both nutrition AND exercising. I strongly believe that a scientific approach to nutrition and a balanced workout routine are the keys to a healthier, happier life!
For now, I am a 20 year old who LOVES mango and blueberries, meditating, reading books, sweating my face out and cooking delicious (but not very good-looking) meals. I am also a Kayla Itsines’ BBG girl, for those of you who might know the program. I am currently on the 2nd book, and I am slowly incorporating more lifting into my regimen. My family means the world to me, even though they are half way across the world from where I live. I feel very fortunate to have such supportive parents and loving siblings! Look out for my summer posts, there will be full of recipes created by my sister and me, as well as traveling photos to beautiful beaches!
I hope you enjoy my posts, and please feel free to leave comments telling me how I am doing, what you want to contribute to the topic and also just to make friends! I love meeting new people and cannot wait to know you too!
